Designer’s Notes.

The Mansion House is an imposing piece of architecture in the sought-after suburbs of historic Cambridge. It is the ultimate contemporary home where classic and modern meet with an array of expansive rooms across four floors with a consistent feel of luxury and comfort.

The conservatorium is a real talking point have taken inspiration and detail that you might see in a ski lodge in the alps. In contrast the drawing room across the hall has a classic elegance with rich fabrics and a balanced, eclectic mix of furniture and accessories. To add a finishing touch we worked in collaboration with an sculptural artist who provided the hand beaten copper swing chair on the balcony.

We divided the substantial master bedroom with a fully upholstered dividing wall to create intimacy and a centre piece for the king size bed. The children’s rooms have been designed to be young and fun while in keeping with the heritage of rowing that is so synonymous with Cambridge.

Throughout the house we commissioned an eclectic mix of artwork and object d’art to appeal to local and international purchasers.
