It’s been a very tough year for many industries in 2020, but none more so than the charity sector which has seen most if not all fundraising events cancelled . This is why Dapa are very proud to have supported St Basils charity throughout the pandemic, helping to directly fund more than 800 nights’ accommodation for vulnerable young people.

Dapa have also just sponsored 6 amazing young people to complete an OCN accredited Life Skills qualification which will be a valuable stepping stone for them to improve their lives. In addition to this we will be offering 2 of the 6 young people 1 months paid work experience at Dapa with a view to a potential permanent position.

Sian Dhillon, Senior Business and Communities Executive, St Basils said “ It is our ambition at St Basils to honour our commitment made to young people by providing good quality, safe accommodation which enables them to develop their confidence, build their skills and achieve their aspirations. Our partners at Dapa Interiors are continually helping us to achieve this commitment by providing vital funds for accommodation, career opportunities and sponsorship as well as donating many items of furniture to create beautiful environments where young people feel comfortable and cared for. We are extremely proud and highly privileged to be a partner of Dapa. We cannot thank them enough for their investment in our communities, they are authentically and enthusiastically making a real difference to the vulnerable young people in our regions and are a fantastic team to work with! ”
