CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF DAPA

Today marks the landmark achievement of 10 years since the creation of Dapa Interiors. This event is a celebration for the entire Dapa team and a significant personal achievement for Directors Rob and Daniel and their families.

In 2009 the industry was experiencing one of the worst recessions in its history, a large part of the new homes market had stopped building all together. As a consequence, the first few years of Dapa’s journey were extremely challenging. However, with a positive attitude, relentless ambition and unwavering dedication, Dapa not only survived but prospered, gaining new clients and growing a strong reputation year on year.

Ten years on, Dapa has become a prominent figure in the market, working with some of the largest and most respected developers in the industry, delivering schemes in iconic locations such as Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf and The Barbican as well as flagship sites for developers across the UK.

In 2014 Dapa entered and won “Best SME’ at the Birmingham Post Business Awards which was a huge achievement for the company, only topped by winning ‘Company Of The Year’ about 20 minutes later. Daniel Mumford, Creative Director, Dapa comments “Winning company of the year when up against such tough competition was incredible. It was an emotional night that personified the huge effort and sacrifice that we have all made to create a successful company. To be recognised in this way was amazing.“

Today the company has a valued team of 25 that embrace and promote Dapa’s ethos of positivity, quality and continual improvement.  This is extended to and supported by the network of our suppliers and sub-contractors who have become part of the family, investing and adopting the company’s ethos and culture.

Rob Burton, Client Director, comments “The evolution of Dapa over the last 10 years has been astounding. I look back at our journey with an immense amount of pride at what we have accomplished and the team that we have created. Where we are today would not have been possible without the support of our team, our suppliers and most of all our families who have backed us every step of the way. Hopefully, this is just the beginning for us as we have lots of exciting ideas for the future”.
